It's *almost* summer

Well, it won't be until March 20th until the first day of spring, but I stepped outside about a half hour ago and it just felt damn good! The slight breeze reminded me of cool summer nights, and the way the sky looked half-assed with the dark ominous clouds in one area of the sky with the sun and a little blue peeking out from another kinda reminded me of summer...

I just can't wait for the warm days to come back...

And the way today feels is almost screwed up, considering the last few days have dipped down as low as the mid 40's, and it snowed a bit on Tuesday... The weather's really weird here in Louisville...

Oh yes. Almost summer = Very very very good thing.

I feel the same way when sitting at my bus stop recently. There's this distinct nice smell that summer has -- Thought I caught a little of it.

You can have it... all of it. I can't fucking stand this time of year. It's been hot down here for the past three weeks... All the goddamn pollen has totally devastated my nose... My truck isn't as powerful since the air is less dense... I'm sweating my ass off at work when I'm doing the slightest bit of physical exertion... and the sun is even more fucking blinding than usual.

If I could, I'd move to Antarctica.

Boo! 100% Winter!!! No summer! Skiing year-round!

The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance.

We just got 4-5 inches of new snow.

Enough already...........

Ski Roundtop webcams.

I'm about half an hour from there.

Looks nice but I'm ready for spring.

I should take up snowboarding. I hear they have a nice halfpipe.

Here in California, it has been hot for the past few days (seeing as I'm not to used to it being AS hot so soon. But summer here is even hotter). The only problem with all this heat is people running their AC, creating more heat for the world to handle. So, Once I get out of school, I am going to spend most of my time at the beach and getting a tan before I go to college. But, I don't know, because UT2k4 is probably going to keep me inside :P

Well, I don't mind warm weather...As a matter of fact, it's gonna linger around the 60's, and maybe even the low-70's by the weekend around here in Louisville...Throw in a cool breeze, and that's my ideal weather!

But the problem is that once you actually get into summer, you're reminded of the hell Louisville tends to give you...Up in the 90's, humidity straight from South America, starts to blister at the crack of dawn, and you only get a break from the heat at night time (Which is fine with me, since I'm more of a night person than I am a day )...Warm weather is good after you get tired from the cold, but you only want "warm" weather...Not "Equator" hot weather, not "You're-entering-the-atmosphere" hot, not "Hell" hot...It really sucks...

Almost lame at that too...

Felt damn good today...Sun was out with a few clouds, upper 60's, slight breeze at times...If only summers in Louisville were this perfect...

If it's any consolation, Fickle, I'd rather breathe smog all the time. My nose can take the smog just fine, but it seems to go on strike when the pollen comes out.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it were still down in the 60s here. It's been up in the high 70s and 80s here for the past two weeks or so.

alaska is pretty warm in the summer. Been there. You're still in T-shirts and shorts. It's fairly humid as well, and lots of bugs. It's just not reaching 100 degrees. More like highs of 80.

Today we had snow...it wasn't cold enough to stay on the ground for more than a second but it was cold enough to fly into your eyes and face with the freezing breeze going with it

I really hope it will get warmer soon!

Sunny, 72F and a nice light breeze here in the Philadelphia, USA area. Jealous? Don't be...in a few weeks we'll have sweltering heat and humidity and come winter, bitter cold and face gashing dry winds.

I was away for a while.
But I'm feeling much better now.
