Top 40 Radio

I heard this in the middle of a Tsunami Bomb song today, had to back the song up to make sure I heard it right.

In the middle of the song an announcer comes on and says "Welcome to the Top 40 radio, where the record companies pay us big bucks to play the same songs over and over again. Remember this is repetition weekend and when you hear the number 1 song, the 40th caller wins a chance to hear it again!"

That's very true.

And one of the many reasons I avoid commercial radio. My life is far too short.
