You weren't asked.

Chill. It is ALL about chill.

The search for the ultimate signature continues apace. I have journeyed from the peaks of Nepal to the depths of oceanic trenches. I have crossed deserts, jungles, swamps, savannas, steppes and frozen wastelands. I have consulted with seers, swamis, sages, scholars and savants. The peregrination proceeds purposefully.

Ideal place really spaceplay, DJ & Listener centre is more for pimping your own channels.
If this is the place to promote your fav album, surely it's the place to promote your fav radio streams

LiveIreland 1 - 56kbps traditional Irish.
http://64.246.30.41:8000/listen.pls

Paradynamic Roadhouse - 64kbps 50s 60s blues.
http://205.188.234.38:8014/listen.pls

Paradise Radio listener review - 128kbps outside the mainstream.
http://64.236.34.97:80/stream/2001

ps. If one of the links won't play straight off the page, drag and drop it onto Winamp's main window.

Live365 (www.live365.com) is the world's largest Internet radio network, with an audience of more than 3 million listeners each month. Live365 is unique in that its programming is created by music fans; anyone with a computer and an Internet connection can create their own Internet radio station for a small monthly fee.

The result is the most diverse array of high-quality streaming audio available today, with thousands of stations spanning myriad genres, broadcasting from over 100 countries.

Founded in July 1999, Live365 won the Best Radio Website award from the Web Marketing Association, and was also the 2001 and 2002 winner of the People's Voice award for Best Music Site at the Webby Awards. The Company is a member of the Digital Media Association (DiMA) the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the Association for Independent Music (AFIM), the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) and Collegiate Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI).

It is completely legal to listen as well as create and broadcast Internet radio stations on Live365, as we make sure all broadcast stations on Live365 adhere to a few basic rules concerning Internet broadcast radio broadcasting.

These rules for broadcasting are found in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA") and broadcasters are required to abide by these rules and other restrictions when they sign on and agree to Live365's broadcaster agreement and terms of use. Live365 also has licenses with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (“ASCAP”) and Broadcast Music, Inc. (“BMI”) which allow broadcasters to stream licensed music through their broadcast stations.

Good choice deeder. Been listening to Virgin on FM radio in the trucks for years, very tolerable for a commercial station.

They've put a lot of effort into the internet service as well and have produced a very good page at
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestat...ten/index.html
it even recognises the Firefox browser and customizes the page accordingly. Provides streams in .WMA, Real format, Mp3 and .OGG.

The .OGG streams are particularly good, I usually listen to the 'Classic' station at http://ogg.smgradio.com/vc96.ogg (drag and drop the link onto Winamp)

Just found Radio Caroline on the net
Celebrating it's 40th birthday

This was THE station to listen to in the 70's and it's not too much of an exageration to say it changed the face of Radio. It set the format for pirate radio and almost all the pop/rock stations we have today. Even kicked the stuffy old BBC into starting Radio One.

Sign of the times - commercial ads instead of the 'Loving Awareness' and vague hippy philosohy we used to get.

where do you think my users and station name comes from ??
right the spaceplay program hosted by Mike Hagler on Radio Caroline.
And the "loving awareness" jingles can still be found on the internet as a download and i use them also.

Sorry to say I've never noticed your station before spaceplay.
Giving it a try now.

Good to see a little ISB creeping in there
