Umm... I tend to start listening to more of Motown and Latin music during the summer. I'll post more as I go along.

For summer, an absolute classic is New Order's "Technique", in fact this record IS summer in my opinion

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Possibly! The last track oozes summer. Then there's Mr Disco, ah yeah........ Vanishing Point. Not forgetting Round & Round (with glockenspiel), oh, and Fine Time.Sod it! You're right!

![]() I would add to that "Disco 2" by the Pet Shop Boys. Few people like this remix album but the fact that it emphasizes fast-paced high-energy tracks makes it a perfect summer album

the album is called "is this it?". the question mark may or may not be there. i'm not a big fan of the strokes, i think they're boring. but that's just me.
summer stuff... ummm: The DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist Brainfreeze sets. Anything by eels. Anything by Madness. Gorillaz - Gorillaz Lemon Jelly. Orbital - The Altogether + all that stuff i listen to the rest of the year... |

Not so rare (refer to post #1).
![]() Ivy - Long Distance (2001) ![]() Not much sign of summer (yet), but no shortage of a summer tune. This is more like Smiths weather.

Hoooly shit... how did I miss that. Still, it's a great album (and yes, it is actually rare now). So, erm, my entry will be Garmarna - Vengeance.
