Multi Server -> Single Yellow Page Entry
I have a station which streams multi bitrates and multi servers at the same time, all of streamers have same name and same tag, but on shoutcast.com they published seperately,
i looked up most popular stations for ex. HitzRadio have 4 different relay servers, but all of them listed single in yellow page, and in a single .pls please help me

This is a cluster, which can be achieved by having one or more relay servers.
Unfortunately, a relay server isn't able to re-encode into a different bitrate. -- Michael |

i tried that single bitrate and two relay servers, but nothing change, shoutcast yp added all of them seperately.

you have to make sure that the IP of the server you are using to cluster off of (the main one you are relaying) is the same base IP as what is connecting to shoutcast initially. Does this make sense?
If you have a server with multiple public IPs, and the outgoing IP that connects to shoutcast's yp of the server you are relaying is different than the IP that you are using to connect to that server to relay, they will not show up as a cluster. |

main server IP a.b.c.60 and relay IP is a.b.c.61
they have same name, same tag, same settings but they are not be in a cluster, they are seperate |

ok, does the main server have more than one public IP address? when you go to www.whatismyip.com on the main server, does it give you the .60 address?
If so, then starting the main server and letting it connect to the yp and then starting the relaying server, and having it relay the .60 server should work. If not, then you have to connect to your main server via the outside address that it uses to connect to the yp. |

yeah it has two ethernet card, and simply it is a gateway for NAT's,
a.b.c.60 and 10.0.0.2 other IP, if i changed to setting for "ANY" to a.b.c.60, could the problem solved ? |
