This is a cluster, which can be achieved by having one or more relay servers.

Unfortunately, a relay server isn't able to re-encode into a different bitrate.

you have to make sure that the IP of the server you are using to cluster off of (the main one you are relaying) is the same base IP as what is connecting to shoutcast initially. Does this make sense?

If you have a server with multiple public IPs, and the outgoing IP that connects to shoutcast's yp of the server you are relaying is different than the IP that you are using to connect to that server to relay, they will not show up as a cluster.

ok, does the main server have more than one public IP address? when you go to www.whatismyip.com on the main server, does it give you the .60 address?

If so, then starting the main server and letting it connect to the yp and then starting the relaying server, and having it relay the .60 server should work. If not, then you have to connect to your main server via the outside address that it uses to connect to the yp.
