Auto bandwidth test before streams..?

I have 2 servers streaming 2 different bitrates.. i was wondering if anyone would know how to set up an auto script to test the clients bandwidth to auto decided which stream would be best. i am using 32k mono and 128k stereo so there would only be a choice of 2.. Does anyone know how to do this? i have bandwidth test scripts.. just unsure how to automate it into the streams

It's most likely possible, yes. If you know PHP well.

I'm sure that you can set the test to runn automatically when they link on the listen link. After that, have an IF statement (IF <# or IF >#) and have them sent to the right stream.

Since I don't know PHP whatsoever, I'm not entirely sure it's possible, but it seems to me it could work.
