Swapping DJ's Live
Hi,
For example if you have 1 DJ from 6-8pm and you have a DJ coming on @ 8pm, is there a way that DJ who is on @ 8pm can log on @ say 7:59pm and not kick off the other DJ? Many Thanks DJ Sytronik www.dabassline.com |

Have them do a 'countdown' via IM or chatroom or something. Thats how most do it.

There is no separate login, the one who is coming "on" has there dsp attmepting to connect, logs in and kicks the source as soon as that happens their source connects, there may be a momentary disruption in the stream but it shouldn't lose any connections.

I have a php script that will allow you to perform server kicks via a web browser. We use it in a secure manner so not to compremise our broadcasts. I'm currently at work but later this evening I will reply with the script. |

Please read it. Enphasis on the "Not kick off DJ" ![]() Having said that - from experience i'm sure a script like that could make the swap much easier. |
