DVD Screenshot program.

Is there a program that can take a screenshot of DVD's played on the compy? I tried using PrintScreen on PowereDVD, but that failed to complete it's purpose.

Damn. I was going to tell you to use printscreen.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.

It's been a while since I've used PowerDVD, but I think the hotkey was ctrl-c to capture a screen.

I appears that my DVD-rom needs cleaning. I should get on that tomorrow.

I believe that the PowerDVD screen capture only works whilst playing video files, not DVD's. However I will test that today.

Hmm, according to the PowerDVD 5 Manual, (Page 24/30(PDF))
Quote:
Caution: This option will be unavailable if you enable video hardware acceleration. This option is found in the Video configuration under the section Hardware Acceleration.
  1. During playback, simply click the Capture button (picture of a camera button) to capture any video content as a still image.
  2. To be more precise, you may pause the scene, play in slow motion, or step frame and then capture.

Hmm... I shall have to disable HWA and get me some screenshots.

BTW I couldn't get it to work with a DVD earlier (I haven't tried with HWA off)
