Stream Rippers

Question:

Many broadcasters here have seen this on their logs - the same person logs in twice, usually with two different media players, from the same IP address. Obviously, they're streamripping. The easy solution would be to simply ban that IP address. However, there are some occassions where IP addresses are shared with another person. I'd hate to ban an innocent person because of the actions of one.

Does anyone know of any other way to prevent this type of activity?

Thanks!

Well, they aren't always streamripping, some people play the station on two computers, or they have someone on their other comp tunre in.

Without watching the log of the players closely, theres really no way to keep it from happening.

yeah, i'm back.
