I just saw the movie yesterday or so. I thought it was rather well made, and Densel sort of makes a small change in the type of characters he plays.

All in all, I thought it was almost satirical about the current government and media situation, but still interesting and serious.

I heard that the woman charachter in the film is suppose to be based off of hilary clinton in terms of personality. That and well, manchurian candidate == john kerry?

Well if you consider Hilary a power hungry entity of evil, then yes, I'd say they are both rather similar in nature.
