Choppers

After seeing so many choppers built on TV, I was wondering: What's the purpose of a sissy bar, and why is it called a sissy bar?

'Scuse me for living under my little rock of music and ... whatever else I do, but... The fuck is a chopper? Is it a motorcycle, or a helicopter? I've seen the 'Orange County Choppers' logo on bloody well everything... What is it?

Chopper in this case, is most likely referring to motorcycles because a sissy bar is a U-shaped bar meant to be primarily cosmetic but can be used as support for either the ride or passenger. Riders shouldn't need a backrest. Thus the name sissy bar. it's a metal bar for sissies. not prevalent on sport or dirt bikes. seen on older cruisers and ... well... "choppers".

No sig here folks.

Others might flame you, but I try not to roll that way.

You've never seen American Chopper? Then this is perfect timing. A.C. Week starts tomorrow night on The Discovery Channel.

Also, check out Orange County Choppers.

I also just noticed in my DTV guide that the "Jet Bike" episode is on @ 2pm CST today.

Boring question....

I often see Orange County being mentioned, often without which state it's in. I know there are orange counties in many states... is it a special county, is there one in every state? I'd appreciate an answer, thanks.

I love that show. It's fun watching paul sr. get all pissed off and then yell at paul jr. Very entertaining

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.
