Help Me Please!i Need Help!

Hi all,i downloaded winamp & the shoutcast plugin today,did all it said to to in the readme about installing,installed it but won't work because its keeps change'ing saying Not Connected.It dosen't stay on one for 4 seconds it just keeps changing!why?I know dont tell me that this question has been asked allready but i have tried just about all the soultions that may fix the problem but it hasnt fixed the problem.PLEASE HELP ME!Thanks

first of all, give details about where you are trying to connect to... Do you have a server? The shoutcast DSP needs a server to connect to...

Also, are you running a firewall or router?

Either give us more details (and not typing like a 10 year old) or search and stop bugging us.

You need to have ports 8000 and 8001 open or whatever ports your using... For instance, I use port 8010 for my listeners, which also means I have to have port 8011 open...

If you are broadcasting to a remote server and that server also has a firewall, then you need to contact the admin of that server and ask that your ports be opened on there also...
