controlling winamp 5 from another program

Hi all,
I was interested in controlling Winamp 5 from another program, initially I had written a code for Winamp 2.91 using the messages that the class provided me with, but it
does not seem to work with Winamp 5.
Could any one tell me if this is possible or not?
If its possible then could I get the messages ( numbers) and the Class ID for Winamp 5.. or has the control strategy changed.

they should be identical (winamp 5 offering more api messages however). classname etc have not changed (winamp 5 being winamp 2 core with additional plugins).
