heya, i know i havent posted in this part of the forum much lately, but im going away to prague, and was gonna buy some cds to take with me. and well, i was thinkin of getting something new that i havent heard before ya know?

so, heres some artists i like:

Bon Jovi
Alanis Morissette
Utada Hikaru
Michelle Branch
PJ Harvey
Billy Joel
Sting/The Police
The Pillows
Madonna :P
Annie Lennox
Anastacia
The Corrs

So, any suggestions?

I have dejavu.

I'd recommend "Beautiful Creature" by Juliana Hatfield.

It's PJ Harvey meets R.E.M. with a twist of Madonna and a sprinkling of Michelle Branch. Did I say Madonna?

Have a nice trip, you'll love it in Prague.

Not sure that I can describe Poe, other than that she kicks ass. Better off hitting allmusic on this one.

and then the hip band sensation of the week is a tie between The Eagles or ZZ Top, both great artist, The Eagles giving more of a "peaceful easy" expierence, ZZ Top being 3 "dirty" old men with a nice car(from Texas, another +)
