Radio Station Basics
Hello All,
I am thinking of opening my own radio station... not a web based station, an actuall radio station but i was wondering what equipment i need. I mean what kind of broadcasting equipment, mixers, etc,... whats the bare minimum to start up my own small station... also do u have any links or like tutorials on stuff like that... Thanks all... Shoot me again I ain't dead YET |

Check with the CRTC, I'm sure they will tell you all about the legal aspect of starting your own station.

a radio mixer (not a regular sound mixer, there is a difference! google "radio broadcast mixer") a radio trnsmitter (dont know much about theese) mics |

thanx guys,
the CRTC doesn't really have what i was looking for. I was just wondering what equipmet i need. I am not concerned about legal issues at the moment. so basically a radio mixer... and broadcasting equipment.. can a PC function as a mixeR??? Shoot me again I ain't dead YET |
