Please use zip instead of rar. Most of us can't open that.

Zip = Common compression, and can mess up when u download it

Rar = Way better compression, and you can make it so it wont mess up when u download it... download winrar @ rarlabs.com

and... kookee, that one is ok, i like it

If you don't mind people not downloading your presets and going elsewhere, please continue using .rar.

I've never had problems with zip files being "messed up" when you download them.

also, under winXP (which is the most common os btw) you don`t have to dl anything for opening zip-files. (i know the built-in windows zip-stuff is crappy, but you know what i mean)

Also *.avs files are ridiculously small, so you really don't need the better compression rar might offer.

Nice basic preset, ebsswf. I usually hate firewurx presets, but this one's not bad.

By all means, you should check out the WFC pack. Great stuff.

I have never had a problem with WinRar, but evryone can use winzip, and as Tuggummi says, avs files aren't so huge as to need better compression then that anyway.

beh not another rar vs zip crap.

heres a better way to look at it. the more effort someone has to make to open your file, the less likely they are to do it. unless you actually exceed the limit and need rar... use zip ffs.

nice to see that you can post a straight rar at last though... all of my rars in zips were in vain. when did that happen? how did i miss it...

edit: and to clarify... i am the one that these mortals refer to as 'J'

edit2: and thanks for the screenies... saved me d/ling that preset to see if it was something new and exciting :P

I use rar, but I always "compress" in zip for others, so i don't see why I should make it always o forget it fuuuck, why just .exe (avs style)

i am not normal, no really.
