bails after 25 songs?

when I try and drag songs on to my shuffle - it will only put 25 of the songs I have selected onto the device - same with send to?

I've transferred hundreds of songs at a time, but usually by dragging the artist or dragging several selected albums to the iPod rather than the individual songs.

Just for sanity sake, are you out of space on your iPod?
