Instead of only bitching, how about reporting it, so that it could be looked into and even get fixed...

I'll do it for you.

sigh.

Wow, compared to FIREFOX the amazing browser!

Every browser has its flaws. If you don't report, it might not be found, if it won't be found, it'll probably not get fixed. Hence, stop bitching and take action.

But hey, thanks for letting 'us' know, I'll post about it in the Opera forum once it's back up.

3 gave me the drop down image or whatever and 5 stayed locked while I scrolled.

Didn't get any popups though (even though I still get them with FF often enough).

3 and 5 worked in Firefox 1.0.4 and K-Meleon 0.9 (but in 5 the popup was mostly offscreen)
2 and 5 in Opera 8 (in 4 the Airplane appeared, but no banner, maybe due to the adblock css that includes blocking based on size)
3, 4 and 5 got past IE6 sp2

When you say 3 & 5 worked fine, do you mean FF has those flaws?

Or by working fine are you talking about my post saying you didn't get the same result?

They worked as in: got around FF's blocker, so I did get the same result as you and biggman15.

How about KDE vs Gnome or Vi vs Emacs?

Doesn't matter if you've never used them, just pretend and throw in some bits you've read somewhere.

I'll stick with British English. It's odd that I understand Americanisms with no problem at all but my better half (American) cannot understand many Briticisms. I must have watched too much Dukes of Hazzard as a child.

I'm finding Visual Studio alright for C# editing at my work, too.

No fair! I was just choosing between vi and emacs. And I picked vi because I never bothered to learn emacs (although until I bothered to learn vi, I did nothing but start it up and type :q ) I greatly prefer kate and kedit.

yea, 3 (which is actually 8) and 5 also worked here.

/edit
interesting. Not one worked on Maxthon! Smoe like the airplane and drop down started, but then they were recogonized and blocked within a half second or less.

shakey, i still got the popups when i added the value to about:config. However, I never get popups while surfing so I guess it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I still get 8 and 5, but thats where either Adblock, or Noscript comes in handy.
Adblock's gonna block whatever image comes from an ad server, and NoScript will keep the script from executing at all.

Tried Noscript a couple days ago.... It's useless to Me at this point... There is a Bug that's either in Firefox as they Claim... or in the plugin itself that causes Firefox to Crash repeatedly... Unless they fix that crash Noscript won't work for everyone... I'd bet it has something to do with windows... But that's just me...

Based on you whole comment i'm assuming you meant to type this:

IE > FF, Opera

But yeah, i'll definately agree with that one.

Why bother?
This thread reaks of retardedness.

I wasn't aware of that, but that's probably because I've been using a Deer Park build for quite a while.

Doesn't it all depend on which way the symbol is?

That was my understanding...

Greater < less

Less > greater

?

Someone explain this too me because that's what i've always thought .

But that just shows it does matter which way the symbol is, but it also shows that I had it backward.. right?

Those are not "flaws", except perhaps the first one. Most of them don't work in Opera 8.01 anyway...
