Error (NAT/firewall)
Hi
I'm trying to run my own server and radio but i get the error that i pasted below. Try the nak error fix link below my message.
Next time use the search function before posting, this problem is answered many times a day and you would have found an answer quicker using that method

ok i tried all of those things but it still doesn't work. is it possible that my isp is blocking the ports?
here are more information +my modem is Motorola SB5100 +i have service pack 2 +firewall is off +and i still get this error """""""yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (404 Cannot se e your station/computer from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall /ISP cache)""""""" please help

Check to make sure the motorola is the *only* device between your computer and the internet. If you have a LinkSys/NetGear/D-Link or similar router in your home, *that* is where you must got to forward ports.
But yes - it is also possible your ISP is interfering. |

Okay - on your computer, click Start... Run
Type CMD and click OK Type IPCONFIG /ALL Post results here

If you have no router, you are sure your firewall/s is/are off then it could either be a cached/proxied IP by your ISP or some security software on your pc that's stopping it all. Cybersitter is a culprit, also check any anti-virus program settings and see if they are blocking port 8000.

hey i had the exact same problem.. whatcha gotta do is go to Input in SHOUTcast Source plug-in and make sure its set to Winamp... yep that simple...
