What IP and port is he using to connect? and, what software is he using to connect with? Any message he gets or you get [DNAS log?] would also be helpful.

*** "connect" is very ambiguous -- both the source/DSP and listeners "connect" to a DNAS ***

Would you be willing to share that IP?

BTW: There's nothing "Wrong" with this:
<09/12/05@17:27:58> [dest: 192.168.1.1] Invalid resource request(/favicon.ico)"
--- FireFox does this all the time.

http://151.198.154.10:8000/ -- I get operation timed out -- Ping and tracert work.

If you connect a local source, expect to see the "Cannot see your station..." message.

I would revisit the port forwrd config and verify that the "target" LAN IP is still in fact the IP for the DNAS PC.

If the the DNAS PC uses DHCP (automatic IP config), and not a static IP, its IP can and will change without notice, and whenever the router (thus the DHCP server) is restarted.

A static IP on your PC will solve that problem forever.

Use my tester here: http://djspinnercee.servehttp.com/cgi-fx/bitrate -- a remote bot will attempt to establish a connection to your server -- until that works, neither listeners nor DJs will be able to connect.
