Removed me? Link not working?
Heres my log:
Quote:
Why does it keep removing me? Is that normal? I opened ports 9001 and 9000 (I'm running on 9001). My IP is 65.96.204.101, so should it be 65.96.204.101:9001/listen.pls? I tried sending that to people, and it didn't connect for them, in fact, it didn't even open as a file. |

Either your playlist is containing a non-mp3 file or you're not playing any music. You can only stream mp3 with Winamp as your sound source. Even one .wma or .wav file will make it not work for Shoutcast.
You have written the url properly but I'm getting a 'document contains no data' message. Go here http://www.broadband-help.com/cm_diagnose.asp?init=1 and make sure your IP isn't being proxied by your ISP. (you may see a message next to "Proxy Name (R-DNS)" that says "An invalid IP Address was passed. Resolution cannot be performed." this is normal) |

Not Proxied. Is it working now? I have no idea what's going wrong.

Be aware that your IP can change when you're not expecting it. I still can't get to your server.
![]() edit/ you said before you're running on 9001? your portbase is 9000 and this should tally with your output port on the DSP. |

Ok, I'm thick as hell, sorry guys, I was putting the wrong port, it was 9000.
[URL=http://65.96.204.101:9000/listen.pls]http://65.96.204.101:9000/listen.pls[/link] I play mostly MSI, Which is rock. Techno, and alternative rock. Thanks guys so much. The only problem now is Lag, is there any way to speed up between song changes? |

There will always be a delay to the listener depending on your connection speed it can be up to and sometimes over 45 seconds.
Anyway the happy news is that Server Status: Server is currently up and public. Stream Status: Stream is up at 24 kbps with 1 of 12 listeners (1 unique) Listener Peak: 2 Average Listen Time: 9m 51s Stream Title: DJ Ice Content Type: audio/mpeg Stream Genre: All Stream URL: http://gaminggov.com Stream AIM: N/A Stream IRC: #shoutcast Current Song:

One last thing : It's not picking up what song I'm playing. It doesn't list it on the page, or on the song history.
Is this normal? How can I fix it? |

It's normal if you're running in Soundcard mode (At least, it was with the old DSP - haven't worked with the new one). Normally, title-streaming works by default in "Winamp" mode.
If in soundcard mode, try winamp mode and see if it starts picking up titles. |
