When you make your station public in the DSP, it will send and make track updates (yp_tch) to the SHOUTcast directory (YP).
If it is successful, you will see the message, ...touched! It should occur around every 5 mins. -- I'll also add that your DSP will update the DNAS upon each track change, so they will not always be in synch. It's a good thing. Updates are very slow, especially for a new station, just be patient, and don't depend on the YP directory for up-to-date info, it just doesn't work that way. The longer you keep your station online, the more the YP will trust you... so be patient. /* v2 HTML5 / Player test pages DigitalMixNYC, DigitalMixNYCbx | DNAS Status: Now Playing js codes (scaststatus_X.php) | PortForward.com | Upload/Download Speed Test | No-IP.com: Free Dynamic DNS | In the YP | dnasDir */ |

They use it (copy+paste) in the address bar of their browser, They can also paste it into "open URL" in WinAMP, RealPlayer, etc....
If you send it to them in an email, their email viewer should make a link out of it like this board does. To use it on a website, it needs to be in an <a href=...>...</a> "link" tag. /* v2 HTML5 / Player test pages DigitalMixNYC, DigitalMixNYCbx | DNAS Status: Now Playing js codes (scaststatus_X.php) | PortForward.com | Upload/Download Speed Test | No-IP.com: Free Dynamic DNS | In the YP | dnasDir */ |
