It's on the whole network, some 200 computers, impressive spyware if that's the case, our network guys (or atleast one of them) are quite competent.

it's either the competent guy having a laugh, or a well written virus i believe...

anywhere on my home computer everything is up and running, and i just set google.co.uk as the default one on my work machine.

I'm not sure how it would work or if it's the cause but if you go through a proxy server they would only have to hit that once to effect the users browsers correct?
