Nightwish

Has anyone heard of them?

My cousin downloaded this one song from them on my computer called "Gethsemane"...Only song I know of from them, but I love them...Based on this song alone, I guess the only way you could describe them would be a mix between opera/orchestrational music and neo-classical shred...

It's very different...I really need to get more material from them...

"I just want to lie in my own crusty filth, eating rancid egg sandwiches, until some unfortunate paramedic has to blow down my door to find my bloated and pasty corpse wedged between the nightstand and mattress stained with Bengay and Robitussin DM." - Greg Gutfeld on sex and seniors
"Syphilis does not stay in Vegas. Debt collectors do not stay in Vegas. Dead hookers stay in Vegas, but the guilt stays with you forever." - Bill Schultz

They're pretty big. Only songs I really listen to by them though are "The Carpenter" and "I Wish I Had Your Angel"

I hadn't heard of them...

My cousin's like "Listen to this song" and I'm like "Nightwish, who the hell are they?"

Nice break from all the hardcore metal he's been trying to introduce to me...For once, a band with a singer that has vocal taste...

at least i like those two a lot

I hate everyone, so you don't have to.

Very popular here with the goth chicks. They're not bad, but they lyrics tend to be idiotic, especially in "Stargazers" - a song I like musically, and make fun of lyrically.

I can hum out a guitar riff from a song for you, but I can't recite a damn line from the lyrics...

What the lyrics say mean nothing to me when the music is better anyway...

Not really my style of music, but I liked "Over The Hills And Far Beyond" and "Nemo".
