changing desktop

why do you think i can't browse and put a background on my computer from a file on my computer. it only will allow the default ones. I haven't changed mine in a couple months till now.

It has to be in a mypictures subfolder i think, right click>set as desktop background:


Or try right click on your desktop>properties see attachment

I konw how to do this. I do that and click on the picture i want and it wont change....and it is not user error.

open the file you want as a background in windows picture and fax viewer. Then right click on the picture in the viewer and select "Set as desktop background"

ta-da.
