Encoding an mp3 file into aac plus

Hello,

I have an mp3 file that I would like to convert/encode into aac plus format.

Apparently, the shoutcast pluging supports this encoding.
But I don't know which shuotcast program to install (listener? dj? server?).

Can you help me ?

Thanks in advance,
Centrino

You don't need to re-encode the files. The DSP will take care of that as it streams to your server. You definately need Winamp and the Shoutcast DSP. If you intend on running the server yourself you'll also need the DNAS. If you are going to stream to a provider and use their servers then you won't need the server but will everything else.
