Error?, i have done everything correct!

why do i get a fatal error?, can someone be as kind as to help me?

Destip and ScrIP both need to be set at "any"

either that or your ports may not be open. What kind of configurtiona you got? are you running the server off your home computer or a remotely hosted computer and if so what kind of OS? are you behind a router?

this problem could be the destip and scrip being set something other than any -or- a second dnas is open, this would cause that problem.

I vote for a second DNAS running. Ignore the other huhu --- that is much more complicated to deal with.

Baby steps .... lets not make this hard till we have to.

I used to get this problem when i was first figuring out shoutcast. It was the shoutcast server. It was running in the background and wasn't completly killed. Open task manager and see if its running. If its not try restarting.

FYI: Linux is also famous for this. One instance of sc_trans spawns numberous process threads.

OK, Thanks guys heeps, it solved my problem and i have it working great, but can you tell me how to get my site to have a :8000 after it please?

:8000 is the port number you choose and is configured in the dnas config.

you may need to open the appropriate portand port +1 in your router to allow incoming connections also.
