control file
I am the program director of a radio station in Rutherfordton, NC and don't have time to sit and babysit a server. What I need is file of some sort that will control when to stream and when to not stream.. also when to move from one input source to another input source without human intervention. Example. We are not permitted to stream certain news casts and some program content. What I need is a file (and help getting it working) that will control the whens and wheres I need. If this makes sense to anyone, and have done it, by all means help me.

well, if this can all be regulated by time (ie what shows can and can not be streamed) seems like a *nix OS is your man and you need his best friend: cron.
Dunno if running a *nix server is an option for you, but it is the easiest. |
