Behind a router

Hi all, i reconnected my shoutcast station and it works fine but one thing...i cannot reach the admin page!! i am behind a router, but ive done it before behind a router, just not sure why i cant do it now. my virutal settings have shoutcast already installed as the inbound and private ports 8000-8005. my ip stays the same with the last number of 3. now when i try to connect to t76radio.sytes.net:8000 the page cant resolve for some reason, even though that port is unblocked... can anyone help me?

rather then using t76radio.sytes.net:8000

try to use your shoutcasts http://IPort

see if that port is maybe being used for something else, can you connect to the stream from your pc?

ok set a diff port for the shoutcast server then allow that port +1 in the firewall rules to allow.

example if you set port 9000 for shoutcast enable
9000 TCP/UDP allow
9001 TCP/UDP allow

make sure you edit your settings in sc_serv.ini and dsp.
also if its running on your pc try http://localhost:8000

it should not take you to your router settings its seems like that port is being used so change it.

can people connect to the stream not by going to localhost but by going to your streams url?

if that works I would change the port from 8000 to something higher.

your router is blocking the connections from outside to your pc... you need to edit the firewall.. if you have WINXP firewall then have to edit that also to enable that port to come in to the pc.
