problems broadcasting in AAC+

i have a bit of a problem here, im trying to broadcast in an AAC+ format but my shoutcast would not connect out instead it just disconnects on its own after 5 seconds.

do i need an extra plugin or what

Make sure you have the latest shoutcast DNAs running.

Should work with version 1.90 plugin as well.

It doesnt work for me

Hi Hackerdork, Im using 1.9 ver and I have the same problem. I can make it work with Mp3 encoder but not with AAC+. What Im doing wrong?.

Make sure you are using winamp v5.04 or above (preferably latest version). Use S/C DSP v1.9.0 with the DNAS server and you should be fine. Make sure you have your port number and password matching in the DSP/DNAS, and check your encoder number.
