upload / bitrate = max users is the correct formula to work out what you can handle.

you can get your speed from www.dslreports.com/speedtest

please read the sticky threads as they are there with answers to most of your questions..

you need to allw people to connect on that port by opening firewalls or port forwarding..

these tutorials will help you resolve connection issues.

since you are still getting the NAK/firewall error. then the one or more of the following is true.

1- Firewall somewhere blocking the ports.
2- Port forwarding is not working correctly, verify that using this web site http://www.canyouseeme.org , punch in 8000.
3- You changed the SrcIP and DestIP to the wrong address, it should be ANY or 127.0.0.1
4- ISP has filtered you out and doesnt allow streaming.
5- You port forwarded to the wrong IP address (PC must has an assigned address by you, not the router as the PC's address can change).
6- Gremlins.
7- Lack of sleep.

search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn.

it means somewhere your port 8000 is blocked by a router or a firewall.

not sure, there is no error coming up on the server on shoutcast now, but when people try connet to http://192.168.2.3:8000/listen.pls

people say it loads up slow. and then just stops after it loads a little of the page.

Get the model number on the router. Got to http://www.portforward.com

Look up your router. Forward ports 8000, 8001 on it to 192.168.2.3
