Shoutcasting on a BT Voyager

im having major probs trying to allow people on to my server. everything this end is working absolutlety fine, my sis can listen on her laptop in her room. but upon successful connection with yp.shoutcast.com i am still not able to have listeners outside of my network? no errors pop up anymore but still i send the link out and i get replies saying 'it keeps saying timed out'
my setup is:
BT Voyager 2100 Wireless ASDL Router
BT Voyager 1040 Pci Wireless Network Adapter
1.1MB connection with BT

On a open network setup, WEP 128bit security and all ports forwarded as nessecary. i can connect to shoutcast but no one can connect to me.??? any info and tech support is more than appreciated. thanks for taking time to read this.

and i have also sent them the playlist file too with same problems coming back

this works on both pcs in my network

everytime they go to shoutcast website via the ip address, it times out before it can even load the main page.
pretty much the same situation on the playlist front using winamp.

Ah - bad link. You're sending them your internal, private IP. They need your real IP.

Try http://www.whatismyip.com

Give 'em that one. See how that works.

oh private IP. port frowarding MUST be setup on your router. better take a look at www.portforward.com and see how to configure that bad boy so port 8000 can connect to 192.168.1.2

Cheers
