Simple Question

Just wondering if we all fill out the same Shoutcast info no matter where we are for the "address" and "IP addie" and "Port" parts and so on. Or does that change/very for every person?

it different for every server. you couldnt connect to my servers without the correct ip address or ports, or vice versa.

however if you are running the server on your computer and winamp on the same computer 127.0.0.1 can be used which is the same on every network device (its called the internal loopback)

Humm okay. Cus I have no idea what to put for the Shoutcast info. So I was hoping there would be commmen steps we all had to do to fill the "ports, IP addie, password" ex. So do i need to fig out MY IP addie and make my OWN password then to connect?

Sorry but im so lost, I been trying to connect for 3 figgen days now and it just blinks "connecting/not connected" every 2 secs non stop... so im forced to ask for help now lol.

Thanks to whoever can help

you need to run a shoutcast server, the shoutcast DSP doesnt get you onto shoutcast.com, that is NOT where the streams would be running from in the first place
