Google "SQRSoft Crossfader"

When you set it up, in Winamp you would remove the SHOUTcast DSP (Set DSP/Effect to "None")

Then go into the crossfader plugin config, look for the DSP tab, and add the SHOUTcast DSP there instead. If you skip this step, you hear crossfades locally but the crossfades are not heard on the stream.

Can the SQRsoft output plugin MUTE the soundcard audio like the NULL Output plugin? What would be the setting [Enable Volume Control maybe]?

I think it does have a null output option. It's been a year or so since I used it, but there are some checkboxes within the crossfader plugin for external volume settings.

The three options are:

[X] Enable Volume Control
[ ] Internal Volume
[ ] Reverse Volume

I've tried some different combinations of the above, but I think as long as the crossfade logic needs the soundcard the WAVE device will be used, and thus cannot be muted without muting all of the WAVE audio at the mixer.

Not a big deal, but it would be a "nice to have" feature, since it would allow listening to the output stream from teh DNAS on the same box without hearing the "mix" of both at the same time.
