Growin' me a chin
Link: In vitro cultured meat: no cows needed
basically, Dr. Vladimir Mironov, M.D of the Medical University of South Carolina, figured out how to grow meat in a factory... no complete animal involved. He believes this will lead to acceptance of meat eating by vegetarians, provide food for long space flights, reduce world hunger, etc. but no venture capital is forthcoming. Now, if I could just get him to grow me a chin!

My roomate is a veggitarian. Not because of the animal killing stuff but because of the taste. He grew up not eating meat and since he has been an adult, he cannot stand the taste of it. Although, hypocritically, he likes the taste of veggie meat and the smell of bacon.

Eh, I wouldn't eat it. Sounds like they're making it without e-coli. Wouldn't be the same - too safe.
