Reinstalling/Upgrading WinAmp

I recently upgraded my copy of WinAmp to the latest release version and now the program is throwing up an Error Window as soon as the three opening panes have displayed that says it must close.

Might I be able to fix this by just running the installer again ?

Thanks very much. I did the complete uninstall and reinstall and now the program is working again.

Somehow it remembered that I don't like to associated with wmv files (unless that type was blanked out because I requested it to not play any video files by default).
