CoverFlow clone for winamp
Hi all,
I am desesperately looking for a winamp-compatible clone of CoverFlow It is a MacOs plugin for i-tunes that permitts to travel through your albums, absolutely great ! I think there is real need Winamp having such an intergrated plugin ! There are some Windows editions out there, but most of them only compatible with i-tunes : - i-cover (french) - Harmony (windows vista based) and there is one alpha-version that plays in winamp : - CoverPlay Well, let me know soon, if there would be any project, or maybe try to develop something in cooperation with the above versions for windows ! Etienne PS : sorry for my bad english, i'm french |

Did anyone make progress on this issue?
I don't want to use iTunes just for 3D-browsing through my albums... and why can't I click the URLs in the post above? |

I've only seen pictures of the itunes coverflow thing, but maybe album list is like what you want.

5.5 albumart might help
*bump*
Now that 5.5 has built in album-art, would it be easier for someone to code this now? All you would need is a bit of 3d graphics knowledge and the ML's API. At least that's what I think it would take... Would it be possible to integrate this into an AVS or a Milkdrop preset? That would be awesome. |

I'm currently working on implementing a coverflow design into my skin MICROAMP...the thread's in the modern section. I've got the basics down for it, and should have a working version within a day or two.
Question... Does anybody know if there's a tag that will cause a layer to render inverted? I've got a way now to make the reflections look somewhat believable (works for text too). |

@Digitalhigh: do you make it only for your skin, or will it be a plugin that it can be used in other skins too?

It has been such a long time since I posted this. And now I was just wondering back, figuring out my thread is first hit by google. But dude, I can't understand people from Nullsoft have such little interest in such a great feature! Well... Thanks for the answers and support E. |
