Name that Tune!

Hey, can someeone here help me figure out the name of this song. . . I was in my friend's car and on came what sounded like the normal 'olay olay olay' song, which i don't know the title to. But instead of the really stupid version, it was a metal version that actually sounded pretty awesome. Anyone have any idea what the title/artist of the metal version is?

No, unfortunately. What i'm looking for is pretty much a cover that went through a metal cycle. I have no idea the name of the original, though.

That video reminds me of The Wall.

That's funny, at the very top of the list is The Downward Spiral.
Quote:
"Dead Souls" was originally done by an early 80's punk/goth/synth band, Joy Division. Take a mediocre song by a mediocre band, place it gently into the loving embrace of Trent Reznor, and it ROCKS!
What's even funnier is that Trent doesn't even like the song, and he especially hates the video he made for it. And, for the record, I don't like the song either. But it's not an original so that's okay.

Joy Division kix ass.

Trent Reznor grew up two blocks away from where I did in Mercer, PA. We've played on many of the same stages, but not on the same nights. He played in the "Mighty Mercer Mustang Marching Machine", the high school marching band - saxophone!

Kinda funny to see a tiny town punk get so huge. Why didn't I?

Here he is NIN himself!
