Streaming problems
Hello everybody !
I have a web radio and I use Sam broadcaster 3 and shoutcast server. My problem is a bit strange : I have 2 computers. One to create shows and one to broadcast. My computer used for broadcasting had a technical problem , so I decided to broadcast from my computer for creations, which has SAM and a shoutcast server When I load Sam Broadcaster, everything is good, even encoding, but when I check on the server that my sound hits yp shoutcast I've that message : [source] icy-irc:#audiorealm ; icy-icq:NA ; icy-aim:NA I'm French, and I'm not so good in technic. Coud someone tell me what it means and how to find a solution ? Thanks. |

that is normal. Nothing is wrong. Your source computer is simply sending the SHOUTcast directory your server information ... part of which is chat rooms that you can specify if you have them, icq# if you want people to have that, and an aim handle if you want people to get at that.
Personally, I do not want people that I do not know being able to contact me, so I leave all of mine as NA, which is exactly what yours is showing. |
