dsp plugin's
I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but here goes.
I am in need of a new plugin or better one then what I was using. the one I was using is called " Wide and dynmic " it is old and has started to cause errors is there any out there that is as simple to use and does the same thing. mainly keep the sound leveled with a volume control and the setting of the sound coming in to the plugin at a constant level on the output side.. if there is no volume control and only the level of the input and output sound, then aslong as there is an option to set the out put vol level will work. i just like the wide and dynime way of making it wide or live and the putting the songs to constant volume and then allowing that to be set with a volume control. so that is what i am looking for in the new plug in even if it is 3 years old it is newer then the one i have.. thanks for any help. and thanks for putting this in the proper fourm if this is the wrong place.

I remember this old freeware DSP plugin: CompWide
it's at the bottom of this page (author's site): http://mpesch3.de1.cc/1by1.html I never tested with newer Winmap versions (supporting 24 bits audio), but I suppose you MUST set the Winamp output to 16 bits in playback preferences have you ever considered the ReplayGain ? |

for some reason this server does not
send out email notices when i have the notification checked? sorry for the late answer to your help i just did not know anyone answered and just came by to post again.? thanks for the noitce of this plugin. i will try it. i have replay gain the thing is though is the volume of the songs change and they seem to go up and down even with replay gain? the volume control on that old plugin was the only way i was able to keep them all level and not have to strain to hear a note, i believe if the words are important enough for the singer to sing them then they are importent enough for me to hear them. same thing with instrumentals if the notes are important enough to play then they are important enough for me to hear. other wise i trash the song. but with these songs i have i know they are at good file volume but it just don't come across with my hardware or my speakers? going to get that one you mentioned now and check it out. thanks again.
