Multiple IPs at once

Has anyone had this problem, and if so, can you explain it?

I've noticed over the last few months, multiple IP addresses logging in at the same time, all using WinAmp 5.0. Usually 5 or 6 or more at a time. The "group" will stay online for usually one song or two, and then disconnect at the same exact time. These IPs are from all over the world, but usually originating in Germany.

Does anyone know the story behind this? Doesn't really seem prudent to simply ban those IPs, since there are so many different addresses all the time.

Any help would be much appreciated!
