I understand that the new version of ShoutCast will allow for on-demand capability. However, when reading through the documentation, i found that the content directory must be on the same server as the Shoutcast server. in my configuration, i have shoutcast running on a proxy server and the content inside the firewall. the proxy comes in, gets the content, and plays it out. my question is - can shoutcast be configured to look in a directory OTHER than the default "content" directory, or do i have to buy a bigger hard drive for the proxy server, so all the content can go there?
