from the PC that's running the DNAS, visit:

http://djspinnercee.servehttp.com/cgi-fx/userdef

You will get an IP and a DNS name -- the IP address is what you want.

The DNAS server has several URLs that do different things, but the URL is formed the same way:

http://{your IP address}:{your DNAS PortBase, usually 8000}

and...

/listen.pls - the "listen" link -- will launch the visitor's configured media player when clicked by a visitor

/ - the station page -- a webpage displaying the DNAS status.

/played.html -- the history of track titles played.

The above do not require authentication.

/admin.cgi -- requires the server password, but it provides more info than the other URLs.

it didnt work, i tried it with IP and portbass, and it gave me a not availible page... i really ned help with this

1) Did you try it from the same PC as you are running the server from ?

2) Have you got a firewall enabled that might be blocking outside requests to the port plus the port+1 that you are using to stream with ?

3) If there is no firewall blocking those ports - then, as djSpinner said, if you can trace your computer's external IP address - you should be able to view your Shoutcast DNAS status page - and therefore tune into your stream.
