JUNE 1--Before his sentencing earlier this year on a felony burglary conviction, Andrew McCormack filled out a form which asked for a "recommendation as to what you think the Court should do in this case." The Montana man, 20, wrote, "Like the Beetles say, 'Let It Be.'" Well, that response did not sit well with Gregory Todd, a 56-year-old District Court judge (and Fab Four fan). In a sentencing memorandum--a copy of which you'll find below--Todd first corrected McCormack's misspelling and then schooled the young defendant on the band's discography

I would say to the judge "I Wish You Were Here One Of These Days after The Trial", because If he were here In The Flesh he'd Stop, Take It Back, and realize in Time that he was Poles Apart from the truth. Then he could state Fearlessly, without Sorrow and without being yet another Sheep, that the greatest band in rock history spelled their name P-I-N-K F-L-O-Y-D.

The judge would find himself Marooned on The Thin Ice. He's just Another Brick In The Wall, and inside his Brain Damaged head there's Nobody Home. He could Keep Talking, Wearing The Inside Out until he was Lost For Words, while I'd simply be Biding My Time.

As much as the felon would have liked to make Time Stand Still before being caught, it should have been Second Nature, or at least he should have learned his Lessons early in life that you don't get Something For Nothing as any Working Man can tell you. For now he has a Ghost Of A Chance as he is stuck Between The Wheels.

For some reason though, In The End the judge let him off easy which is Heresy and a Far Cry from what the punk deserved. The Circumstances dictate that the guy should be shedding Tears while under Lock And Key.

You Bet Your Life the "convicted" man probably looks at the light sentence as One Little Victory. Unfortunately, that's just How It Is.
