Cannot create Mp3 Data Disc!

When using the send to CD Burner feature of Winamp, it will only let you burn audio discs. Is there a way to tell Winamp that I want to burn a data disc? My car plays music from Data CD's...

I have found a crazy workaround. I mounted a folder as my M: drive, then I setup the M: drive as a USB storage device. This way, I can tell Winamp to send my files to that folder. Then I use Windows burn agent to burn those files to a CD. A long way to go to get a usable solution.. hope theres a shortcut. (Also, Winamp screws up the file names when using the send-to USB plug-in, see my other post).

You can't burn MP3 Cd's in winamp

And when I'm through with it, it's gonna blow a hole,
This wide, straight through the worlds own idea of itself.
They're throwing bottles at your house.
Come on, lets go break their arms."

I hope you mean, that we "can't" YET do this. I thought these Winamp folks were about what could be done, and it's just a matter of time.

I dont know you'd have to check the request/wishlist section for that, or maybe some of the developers will stop by and give you a more definitive answer. I know people have been asking about this for a while now though. *shrug*

You have got to be kidding....a Superb Music Management system like this cannot even burn an MP3 CD - even Windows Media Player can do this, even the Windows DOS Copy command.
I was looking at WinAmp as a replacement for the now (almost) defunct MusicMatch, but as WinAmp is missing a simple MP3 CD Create - I think it is not up to the job.
I still have to find anything that comes even close to MusicMatch.
So, I'll go and get Windows Explorer to drag/drop a few MP3 files onto my CD then.
So Disappointed...

TBH I was looking to see if there are any developments. This is a feature that should have been added years ago TBH.
