Sams Broadcaster

I was wanting to know if you can use sams broadcaster to broadcast on shoutcast. And if so how do you set it up to play where you can see your station on shoutcast. But I also need help setting it up.

yes you can use sam to broadcast.

sam is unfortunately not supported here.
its supported at www.spacialaudio.com

once you have the server up and running with the shoutcast dnas & dsp i woud recommend moving onto sam.

Yes sams can broadcast threw a shoutcast server, and as far as being on the shoutcast site all you have to do is use the shoutcast softwear. when you start it up it logs in and feeds the info. As nitck said for setting it up. read and learn but not in here for sams.

I use SAMS Broadcaster and I'm using Shoutcast and IceCast on my local server and I'm using The ShoutCast Radio Manager.

Open the Encoder menu and click on Add a new server, select MP3 (Lame_ENC) and click OK a new window will open and the default screen is Converter where you can select bitrate, mode (Stereo/Mono), Sampling Rate(I set mine to 44100) then you have General Options Auto Restart Encoder I always select it and set it to 5 seconds and 15 seconds and leave Allow scripts in string unchecked. Next tab Server Details - Select
Server Type = ShoutCastand
Version v2
ServerIP = master.shoutcast.com
ServerPort = 8000(yours port might be different)
Password = same as your login password for Radio Manager
SID = Your Stream ID
Station Name = 440MUSIC Radio for Indie Music
Genre = select one from the dropdown
Website URL = http://www.440Music.com (chage to your web site)
Check Public if you want to share with the world
Enable Title Streaming = check if you want listeners to know the song details

3rd Tab - Stream Archive - If you want to save a file of your show check the box

I am really interested in getting things running with Sam but I have a few questions.

Precisely what are these two lines referring to?
Server Type = ShoutCastand <<
Version v2 <<

and the serverIP, I've seen this in a few threads but it's not been well explained.
WHY use "master.shoutcast.com" instead of one's one serverIP? (when using winamp/DNAS I use a DDNS account URL)
