Samsung T10 causes runtime error
-Asus P5K-SE
-Core 2 Duo E6750, 2GB DDR2 RAM -AC97 onboard -nVidia 6800 -Windows XP SP2 -DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) -Winamp 5.51 Full Whenever I plug in my Samsung T10 (PlaysForSure), winamp comes up with an error, it still works in the background, unless I try to transfer something. It started happening as soon as I installed Windows Media Player 11. |

I also have a T10 and WMP11 on WinXP SP2; I don't get an error message in Winamp 5.51 (Free version, I guess), but Winamp will reliably disappear silently immediately after my T10 is detected by the OS after connection.
If I start Winamp while the T10 is connected, it will show the UI, populate the playlist with my old playlist files, and (if I'm quick to press play) will even start to play a song, but again disappears about a 1/2 second after the playlist finishes loading. It may be useless info, but the T10 appears under section "Other" in My Computer, listed as a "Portable Media Player". (Rather than the usual bulk-USB-device drive I'm used to). |
