Link to album covers
This might not be the appropriate forum, and if not, I apologize. Mods, feel free to move this if necessary.
Anyway, I've noticed a lot of stations' webpages that will take the current song being played and link it to the artist's album via Amazon.com, with the option to "Buy". Can anyone provide me with the basic HTML coding to do this? It's a very nice feature and I'd like to include it with my site. Thanks. Last edited by ClassicRox; 8th March 2008 at 05:25. |

Dunno how they did it, but I do know that you can get a free widget from www.amptracker.com that will do this for you.

As said Amptracker works. The free version has a few limitations (no song voting, no ability to enter your Amazon affiliates ID, no ability to use custom pictures) but for a small monthly fee you can enable these options. Another more expensive option but one that if you are serious about broadcasting, is to get SAM Broadcaster, that comes with the ability to display album artwork and links to info and/or Amazon or whatever source you choose to use. Check my site to see both the amptracker and SAM in action.
*I do not have any affiliation with SAM or Amptracker apart from being a customer.
