IM A HUGE MAC GUY AND IM SETTING UP SHOUTCAST ON A PC, BEEN HERE ALL DAY AND CANT FIGURE THIS STUFF OUT
Im on WIN XP
MY LAST LOG FILE READS

EVERYTHINGS COOL UP TOP,
AFTER MAIN THREAD STARTING

and then it just keeps doing that every second...really

i dont want to bother you, but where would i go to change the DNS settings on a PC.
I mix on mac and i havent "PC'ed" in forever.

ok ive done every change i can do and checked after each time i did it, of the dns area...nothing, im dead in the water

i've fiddled with stuff, and as soon as i take off the YP config Server public option i dont have a problem??

I know i have a dns problem, i just dont know what to set windows dns settings to.

Your computer needs to be able to resolve yp.shoutcast.com, and yp.shoutcast.com needs to be able to see your stream on the port you have it listening on.
