I can't display Winamp on my TV with an S-Cable
My actual dvd player is not working so I'm using Winamp to play DVD movies, the movie is displayed on the computer screen, but when I connect it to the TV via an S-Cable, the Winamp screen on the TV is all black while the movie can be seen on the TV.
Is tehre a way to fix this? |

have yu tried outputting using another video player? VLC media player is an excellent free one. Also, I bet you're using an NVidia video card? - they have several issues when outputting via their S-Video link. I know... I've got one!! Check out the NVidia forums...
Hope this helps T |

Some video cards do not allow more than one video overlay. Try disabling the overlay or hardware acceleration option in Prefs -> Video.
I will post the full option in a minute or two. Winamp is busy. Uncheck "Allow hardware video overlay..." in Prefs -> Video Winamp ATF Reference — My cPro timer widget — My port of AVS Do NOT email me with general tech support questions. Last edited by J_Darnley; 14th June 2008 at 11:38. |
